The Alliance for Community Respite Care (ACRC) of CLASS, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of respite stipends made possible through the Lifespan Respite Grant.

The ACRC of CLASS is now accepting requests from family caregivers to receive respite stipends.
Families must meet all of the following criteria:

• Be ineligible to receive respite funds from other state, local, or federal funding sources
• Have an immediate need for emergency respite that cannot be met
• Must be an unpaid caregiver who is seeking respite
• Must have a disability or chronic or terminal illness

What are the requirements?

• Families must participate in pre and post service surveys
• Funding must be used prior to May 31, 2014
• NO age, disability, or income restrictions
