The Alliance for Community Respite Care (ACRC) of CLASS, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging Office of Long-Term Living, is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of Lifespan Respite Mini-Grants.

The ACRC of CLASS is now accepting requests from family caregivers to receive up to $300 in a respite stipend.

Families must meet one of the following criteria:

• Be ineligible to receive respite funds from other sources
• Have depleted funding from other respite sources, or
• Have an immediate emergency need for respite that cannot be met with current sources in a timely fashion

What are the requirements?

• Families must participate in a pre and post service survey
• Funding must be used prior to June 30, 2013
• The family caregiver must be caring for a family member who resides in the home
• NO age, disability, or income restrictions
